IPL 2014 auctions will be held on 12 February and if required it will continue to 13th February 2014. The venue of the auction is still not announced by BCCI.
According to the Pepsi IPL 2014 all franchises will be allowed to retain five cricketers during 2014 Indian Premier League auction which will be held on 12th February 2014.
Franchise can sign mum 5 players either capped or uncapped and no mot more than four of whom may be capped Indians who were in squad in 2013. Except the players that are retained all players will have to go under auction who wants to play in IPL 2014.
The Governing Council said the franchises will be charged Rs. 12.5 crore for first capped players retained, Rs. 9.5 crore for second capped players retained, Rs. 7.5 crore for third capped players retained, Rs. 5.5 crore for fourth capped players retained and Rs. 4 crore fifth capped players retained.
IPL 2014 Auction will be similar to the last year.
