Live Updates of the Final of DLF IPL 2010 Between Mumbai Indians Vs. Chennai Super Kings!
Big Moment, the finals of the DLF IPL 2010 is scheduled tonight between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at DY Patil Stadium Mumbai. Mumbai Indians stand at the number position in the points table after winning 10 matches out of the 14 which they played, on the other hand Chennai Super Kings remain at the third position in the points tally. They won 7 matches out of the 14.
Mumbai Indians has the best team combination so far in the tournament, only concern with them tonight is the presence of the skipper Sachin Tendulkar for the match. Sachin has injured his fingers of the right hand in the semi finals. On the other hand Chennai Super Kings has the skipper Mahender Singh Dhoni who can change the path of the match any time with his decision. So tonight’s final is between the two great son of Indian Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar and Mahender Singh Dhoni, let’s see who can be able to hold the trophy.
So, we will have to wait and watch for tonight’s big final.
Weather Sachin Tendulkar is playing on tonight or not? The answer is not yet clear, but as far as his hands in concerned, it is not yet that much that he would join the match tonight. As per Sunil Gavaskar, he wont be able to wear the gloves properly, so seems impossible to bat tonight. Right now (at 6:40 PM) he is doing a bit of batting practice, does it mean that he is coming up in the match. The big question for tonight is weather he is playing or not, rather than which team can win the tournament?
So as according to Harbhajan Singh, Sachin knows the importance of the match and he is very much fit, so going for this match. Cool, great sign of relief for all - other than those who are supporting Chennai Super Kings, although they too are the fan of Sachin.
MS Dhoni, the skipper of the Chennai Super Kings Won the toss and he has decided to Bat first. He want to set targets, Sachin is not unhappy with the toss loss, both the team batted first in the semi finals and won the match, so there might be a bit of pressure on the Mumbai Indians.

So 168 is what Chennai Super Kings made, and it is the highest team score in an IPL final. Raina and Dhoni were phenomenal in the batting, while Morkel too played brilliant. Till 12 overs Mumbai Indians were having an upper hand, but after that it was Chennai, Chennai and Chennai. Big question of the moment is Can Mumbai Indians be able to make 169 runs? With the right hand of Sachin Tendulkar injured it will be real tough for them and with the bowling attack of the Ashwin, Murali and Jakati, it is really difficult for them.

First six of the finals, by Hayden to the ball of Harbhajan in 2.4th over.
